A pregnancy pillow isn't really a pillow — it's a sleep position aid. The job is to wedge between knees, fill the curve of your spine, support the belly when you've graduated past month four, and let you side-sleep for eight hours without your hip flexors or lower back firing complaints. The right body pillow does all four. The wrong one (and most of them are wrong) only does one or two and leaves you re-arranging yourself every time you turn.

The shapes that work are the U, the C, and the long straight body pillow. The U gives you a back support, a belly support, and a knee separator in a single piece — you slide inside it and the whole bed becomes a nest. The C is the same idea in a smaller footprint, useful when a partner shares the bed and a U is too greedy. The long straight body pillow is the minimalist version — works best paired with a second pillow behind the back, but takes up less space and stays cool. We carry all three.
